RAS SERVICES

For many commercial projects, accessibility compliance is treated as a late-stage checklist item. That approach can be costly. A competent Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS) adds value much earlier by helping the project team identify common issues during design, interpret Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS), and reduce the risk of expensive corrections, delays, and failed inspections after construction is complete. Atkins has assisted clients on hundreds of projects by identifying issues early, minimizing changes, controlling costs, and helping projects move more efficiently toward approval and completion. For more information, see our blog, “Why a Competent RAS Matters.”
